NDIS Registered Provider
As the National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS rolls out across the country some people will become eligible to apply for funding from it and become a Participant and this scheme will take over from other government funding schemes.
The NDIS has various criteria to be able to successfully become a participant. To become an NDIS participant you must:
· Have a permanent impairment that significantly affects your ability to take part in everyday activities, or have a developmental delay;
· Be aged less than 65 when you first apply to enter the NDIS and meet additional age requirements if you live in SA or TAS;
· Live in Australia in an NDIS area on a specified date;
· Be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa or a Protected Special Category visa. Funding from the NDIS covers many facets of life, which includes funding for continence issues.
Down Under care is registered with NDIS and is a Provider. We are happy to work with Participants, Plan Managers and or their supporters to provide continence and other products that we have available.
Littles Down under provide a large variety of incontinence products not usually found in the local shops. Our products are colourful and have an increased capacity allowing those who suffer from heavy incontinence to lead a more normal life without the need for frequent changes. This also allows more quality time for carers to be with their charges.
